Favourite Solos - season 1

...and here's the last batch, my favourite solos from Glee's first season - when plots still made sense, characters still had development, and the show was overall fantastic rather than frustrating (which it so often is now, sigh).

Since Matt, Brittany and Mike didn't have any solos, I again chose the numbers where I liked their dance performances most - "You can't touch this" was so deliciously random... and oh Matt, we hardly knew ye! )

My favourite Rachel solo is actually "Take A Bow", but sticking to my "no depressing songs for the Glee chibis" policy (you could argue "Rose's Turn" is a bit depressing, but it ends on a positive note. Also, it's my favourite Kurt solos ever apart from NTBND, so it had to be included) I chose my second most favourite, "My Life Would Suck...".

And can you believe it was only when I was checking Rachel's clothes in that number that I realised the choreaography to that song is an amalgamation of all the main performances from the first 13 episodes...? I'm so slow sometimes... >////<;
